Frostflame is a misunderstood, grumpy thief who lives in sanctuary. He hates everyone and everything, especially the fact that he is a hybrid. 

 His mother was alive. Nobody knew how that had happened, because she had died two years ago in an explosion. Everyone had said she was a grumpy, self-loathing skywing who hated socializing and friendliness.
 
Frostflame was the exact replica of his mother. But something is wrong with her. It's almost like she's glitching, she's snapping at small things, and she almost killed Frostflame. 

Her eyes are pitch black, more than a sandwing's, like black abysses of doom. She is slowly going insane, and now she's the most dangerous dragon on the planet. And she's coming to kill her own son.
