    In the midst of a collapsing world, two women find themselves thrust together in a fight for survival. Although they're foes in the beginning, they end up leaning on one another in a life or death situation. As they struggle through hunger, dangerous survivors, and the constant threat of the undead, an undeniable connection begins to form between them. Ellie's walls, built from years of emotional distance, slowly begin to crack, while Marceline, drawn to Ellie's strength, finds herself falling in ways she hadn't expected.
    
    But their journey is anything but easy. Trust is hard to come by, and the constant danger puts a strain on their fragile bond. Just when it seems like they might find solace in each other, a betrayal threatens to tear them apart, forcing them to question whether love can survive in a world where everything else has already been lost.
