This poem tells the story of a kitten born with hope and wonder, only to face the harshness of reality. Reflecting on cruelty and shattered dreams, the kitten questions why innocent lives like theirs are harmed by humans. Through its journey, the poem explores themes of innocence, pain, and vulnerability. ================================= This Poem is exclusively available on WATTPAD Copyright, ©️2024 S. K. Featured on @WattpadPoetry's reading list Stygian Skies and @CoffeeCommunity's Cappuccino reading list. A poetry book that trembles with fear, explodes with rage, and loves with everything it has. It tries to make sense of the past and explores trauma head on in an unfiltered way that leaves no room for denial. It's a documentation of my entire life, moments both sun kissed and dark. A book written with the new understanding that expressing how you feel is absolutely vital. Most of my poems come from personal experience and some topics may be sensitive to some readers. Some themes included consist of toxic household environments, the loss of loved ones, abusive relationships, suicidal thoughts and actions, and struggling with mental illness.
