When a riot and a security breach at the Thunder science tower, threaten the safety of the people and stability of an already fragile government, Derrick, his best friend, and two guards of the tower have to fight their way to the main security station to reconnect the tower internally and connect to the outside world for help. 
  
  Lurking within the shadows, however, are creatures looking to turn the crew into their mindless minions. And a conspiracy of an inside job, threatens to sabotage the crew's plans. Can the crew control the chaos, or will this disaster claim more victims?

In the wake of this global threat, humanity united under one banner, their military force being formed into the Earth Defense Task Force. Despite holding back the Dark Forces from completely eradicating the human race, the EDTF is severely outmatched against such a powerful foe. Many Decades after the western hemisphere became a draconic wasteland, the EDTF had begun development of Project Firebreak, a hand-picked set of individuals to become humanity's best warriors. Sticking to his morals meant being left for dead by those in charge. By chance, he meets Luc, a member of the planet's sentient avian humanoid species. All Jessie wants to do now is live out the rest of his days with him, and hopefully get past the language barrier that prevents him from communicating the feelings of love he hopes are mutual. Unfortunately, sightings of a human and an alien together are more interesting to the colony's higher-ups than one would hope. *** Born the runt of his clutch, Luc had never held anyone so small, so soft... A psychological horror about identity, survival, and the fragile line between childlike innocence and something darker. In this world, it is just as messy. Oh! Did I get your attention? Nice. Sorry if that was a word salad to you, but I have to catch you from the crowd somehow. The story centers around Conner. A broken golden retriever furry. He searches for simple physiological needs and steps up the pyramid to find himself in a broken world with nothing but rubble and all sorts of company. Say that sentence in one breath. Conner ventures out in the vast enclosed environment while trying to get a sense of his past, present, and future. The world is in ruins, from mysterious entities that nobody has the answer for their origin. Or, perhaps, nobody has the guts to look deeper. In this adventure, it has trauma, drama, comedy, oddities, tears, fears, death, and romance! You can't rhyme with that now, can you? Every chapter adds a puzzle on the piece. Revealing the big picture, or at least, half of it. This is heavily based on First Person POV, and how the story is dictated is biased upon Conner's interpretation. Aidan then sees something in the forest while on a walk. It's covered in midnight fur, with hoofed feet, a wolfish skull head, and tall antlers rising above its head. He takes Aidan in, practically kidnapping him and keeping him in his home, claiming Aidan is his fated mate . But Aidan soon learns that this dangerous creature might not be as dangerous as he had thought, especially with how affectionate he is with him. Aidan learns that this beast may make him feel strange things he shouldn't be feeling.
