Dear Diary,
You probably don't know who I am or that I even exist, maybe you do I'm not sure. My name is Gracie Gilbert and I am the younger sister to Elena and Jeremy Gilbert. The last Gilbert born into the family, Writing in this thing really seems to help my never ending depression. Why am I depressed? Well my parents death really hit me the hardest, Sure it did to Elena and Jeremy but with me I just.... I just couldn't get over it.
I couldn't face the facts that they were gone. They were my best friends and I've lost both of them, I also lost apart of myself.
I thought I could never smile again, or never really laugh, or even cry. These days I feel like a zombie in a shell of my own body.
But one day he came, and he made me smile, he made me laugh for the first time in months, he made me cry, he made me feel good. He picked up the broken pieces I was feeling. He Saved me from utter destruction, his name is Damon Salvatore.
