After this break up weird things start happening to Jonathon, Vecna starts attacking him. Nancy notices these strange appearances and decides to help before it's too late. To do this, she turns to the only person who can help, Steve Harrington. She's not thrilled, but it was the only option. With Jonathan in California and Nancy in Hawkins, it was getting hard so they decided to break up. then Nancy is taken into a trance by Vecna and the only person who can save her, is steve. (WARNING- I WROTE THIS A WHILE AGO AND IDK WTF I WAS DOING SO THE WRITING IS PROBABLY REALLY BAD, AND THE BOOK IS PROBABLY CRINGY. IDK WHY PEOPLE STILL READ IT. IF YOU DECIDE TO READ IT AFTER READING THIS WARNING, YOU'VE BEEN WARNED. GOOD LUCK. i might rewrite this at some point. This book takes place Just after season 4 volume one ends... *SPOILERS AHEAD* so right after nancy got stuck in the upside down, being in a trance caused by Vecna.. I would highly recomend watching season 4 volume one before reading it because it will have some major spoilers most likely.
