"I... I like you," she stammered, her voice barely above a whisper.
Jungkook, sensing something important, stepped closer, his gaze locked with hers. Her heart raced as she struggled to find the courage to confess her feelings.
With each beat, her chest tightened, the weight of her emotions threatening to overwhelm her.
"What?" Jungkook's voice was soft, filled with curiosity and anticipation.
He moved in closer, his breath mingling with hers, creating an intimate moment between them.
Ji Yoo's pulse quickened as she took a deep breath, trying to steady herself. She looked into his eyes.
Her intense stare bore into him,. In that moment, time seemed to stand still as they shared a silent exchange, each heart beating in rhythm with the other's.
"I love you," she whispered, a single tear escaping from her eyes. Jungkook's heart swelled with emotion as he melted into her embrace, holding her tightly.
"I love you too," he whispered back, placing a tender kiss on her neck, causing another tear to fall. But it wasn't the sweetness of his gesture that made her cry; it was the harsh reality of their situation.
