Darker than the Deep

Desperation and poor economic status can inspire the strangest of behavior in any young woman, including Margaret Hill. Her standing as a seamstress and barmaid has offered nothing beyond the occasional stiff glance from onlookers, and she desires a new start in a new land - a new timeline would have been even better. Although unable to reframe the hours of the earth, Margaret is sent the opportunity of a lifetime. A sealed document detailing a handsome sum of money in exchange for menial tasks is dropped off at her front door, and the promise of distance from local eyes piques her interest. Under the guise of excitement and prospects, Margaret and eleven other unfortunate souls enter into contract with the lord of the Garrison Estate. Their fates tied to their upcoming destination, they unknowingly begin the treacherous task of escaping a monster's tyranny and watchful eye.
