Since they were 13 Izuku has felt like Katsuki has hated him with every inch of his body. Katsuki pushes him and makes fun of him and is just over all rude. They were friends at one point, best friends even. One day it just changed, like a switch was flipped. Izuku and Katsuki went there separate ways, Katsuki became a popular football player and Izuku was a award winning painter. They became very different people when they entered high school they stopped talking, Katsuki even stopped bullying Izuku; they acted like strangers.

Until he saw him swimming in that damn forest.
