After being forced to commit suicide during a siege against him, Wei Wuxian finds himself in another world with a new identity and no memory whatsoever. All he knows is that he does not belong here, he has no idea who he is or where he came from. He keeps having these weird dreams which are hazy, all he sees are two men clad in robes like they belong to the ancient era. Wei Wuxian, now known as Xiao Zhan struggles through his new life while trying to figure out what the dreams mean and who is the man clad in white robes that keeps coming in his dreams.
Lan Wangji lost his soulmate when he jumped off the cliff of Nevernight years ago.
Wei Ying, courtesy Wei Wuxian had abandoned his sword for some reason and turned to demonic cultivation. No one knew why nor did they try to find out either instead they led a siege against the man and forced him to his own death. Lan Wangji was not part of the siege but he failed to stand by his soulmate when needed Android now the man was gone.
