All For One, Dr. Garaki and Overhaul. They did experiments on him and made Izuku stronger and smarter and different, plus even the smartest person ever can't beat past his IQ.

The smartest person ever 'was' Principal Nezu of U.A. high.

Izuku and Bakugo grew up together so when Katsuki witnessed his kidnapping this made Katsuki grow passion, hope and confidence in finding Deku.

But Izuku isn't the only one that was kidnapped.

But only he took most of the experiments.
