The Greater Good is a story I am writing about an OC I have made. The book is about a toxic family situation with graphic depictions of neglect, abuse, and violence.
A story about a girl who struggles to survive her toxic family situation all while dreaming about one day being free. Will she ever escape and find peace? Will she ever outrun her destiny? Will she ever learn what she's truly capable of? All remains to be seen.
The overall plot of this story is already in my heads its just a case of writing it out and adding minor details, however the order of these chapters may change in the future. I am not a writer so if you notice any mistakes or have any tips, please let me know :).

Reasons
Cursed as much as blessed with empathy, Ava Monroe can't help herself when someone needs help, physically or mentally. Her escape from the horrors of people's minds is painting, but painting is exactly what leads her to Max. To be fair, she doesn't know who Max is when she meets him. She is drawn to his tortured soul, like a moth to a flame, and it just might be her undoing. However, Max isn't as willing as her brother was to get help with his PTSS, and his missing leg is a physical reminder to him of the horror in his mind and memory. He is ready to call it quits, but finds someone won't let him, someone who is willing to help him fight his battles. Ava doesn't care how dark and ugly it can get, and she is too stubborn to give up. Can Ava help Max find a reason to live? Or will his tortured soul drag her down with him? *Warning: This story might contain sensitive material. Her Favorite Book(Rewrite)
This is a redone, more realistic, more detailed, more writing experienced version of "Her Favorite Book" I wrote that story in 2021, I'm pretty sure, and I was less experienced than I was compared to now. Looking back at the story, I realized I could have offended certain people with my depictions of the abuse in the Rosa household, as well as her relationship with Charlie, and how she seems to not care as much about him as an older sibling, especially a protective one, would act. All of these problems are going to be fixed and all the chapters will be edited. I would also like to make it clear, I might change a couple things in the book itself, like, for example, I'm changing Alex(Ryder's younger brother) into a little girl who only speaks Spanish, and her name is Allie. Also, Ryders household life before Stella(Why his mom works so much, why his dad isn't in his life, etc) will be written in more detail than before. If I offended anyone in the original version of this story, I deeply apologize. Now, to those certain people that like the original story, I won't be taking it down, as it was and still is a big growing opportunity for my writing career as of now.Lengkap

Afterwards, causing her to become suicidal and depressed along with many other mental illnesses. But as she enters the 9th grade, her and Jason flip the scenery.
