Hard to Please

Marceline hated being the firstborn daughter in her family. Bata pa lang, her life felt like a competition against her sister, Chelsea-a competition she could never win. No matter how hard she tried, she was always the second best. When she met Nova, she no longer expected them to get along. With her bruised image and bad reputation at school, a man of discipline and hard work could never be compatible with her.

But even though Marceline knew Nova could never like her, she found herself crushing on him. This became a big problem because the more time they spent together, the more she wanted to please him.
