As soon as I see the beach, instead of excitement I felt dread. I step out onto the sand and see a blond girl stripping over Orion, my brother. My nose wrinkles, then I see who it is. Annabeth. I calmly turn, drop the ring, and after scribbling a message, with a note next to it. Then I just turn and leave. Letting Annabeth be happy, rather than sad or angry at being stuck with my pathetic self. Then I run into the woods, sad, and thinking of ending my life, since I know none of the gods except, maybe Ares, would kill me.
