*This short story is a fanfiction for the Dunwich Horror by Hp Lovecraft, which is now a public domain. I must say I both love and hate Dunwich Horror, first because my beloved son is this in this story and second is because Lovecraft nerfed him... So I decided to write my own version for my own AU. There are a lot of adaptations in this fiction, so if you are interested in the original story, please go check it out.
Warning : I'm not a professional writer. There might be some plot hole and may not make sense. And English not my first language, it would be broken, I'm sure...

In this story, there was a boy, he grew up into a great man. A man made legend. The supernatural of the world itself, wrapping around the finger of a legend, a legend made God. When I was little, my mother used to tell me stories about an ancient world that contained mystical and strange creatures -created by the gods it was supposed to divide the humans and the creatures. Her stories were mostly about brave Guardians that had the obligation of protecting the other world. This world was to be called the Portal World. As I grew up in difficult conditions I dismissed all those ideas out of my head. Tales are for children and nothing of it was true. Or so I thought. Until the day the guy I hated the most saved me from imminent death. *** Deep in my being an unbearable anger scattered itself through my body. I clenched my fists. A violent jerk started building up to my vocal cords. I gritted my teeth to keep it under control but in vain my lips began to move. "My life is not an Illusion!" DISCLAIMER: It'll get quite deep and serious into mental wellbeing and mental health in general + a few descriptions of bodily harm and injuries so any sensitive readers be advised. This one revolves around Bubba a little more cuz I noticed how neglected the poor guy is so giving him a villain arc would sound absolutely gas. Of course everyone will get screen time but in general just saying I'm making a pinpoint in this one. HEADCANNONS (gonna keep it simple): Narrator - God. Catnap: 6'0", gay Dogday: 5'10", gay Bubba: 6'0", straight Hoppy: 5'7", straight Kickin: 6'2", straight Piggy: 5'9", straight Crafty: 5'5", straight Bobby: 5'6", straight Writing fixations: Bold = thinking / screaming Sideways = explanation of surrounding / activity Underline = serious / manipulative tone -the fixiations here are quite inconsistent, you'll figure it out once you read on.
