ABOUT THE BLACKENING: The Blackening is a very contagious infection that other lifeforms are immune to, except for the Bombers. it had first started after the events of Super Bomberman R 2, the Lugion carrying this rare infection, and it just so happened to first affect Black Bomber, who is now in the REALISM stage. one of the ways to stop Blackening is for an infected bomber to take out their old orb and replace it with a new one. but orb supply has been low, so The Blackening had spread all throughout Planet Bomber. but here's a catch: if the Bomber reaches Stage 3, their orb cannot be replaced.
Stage 1: ECLIPSE. The Bomber is unable to make bombs and will experience extreme nausea. Not Contagious yet.
Stage 2: ANNEX. Bomber's orb starts to show, the Bomber will start to starve itself. Not Contagious yet.
Stage 3: THREESPINES: the Bomber will start to grow a long neck and have violent outbursts. Not Contagious yet.
STAGE 4: the Bomber will start to vomit out it's own oil, it's body starts to contort. Contagious.
REALISM: The Bomber is fully infected. it's belt and belt icon gone along with it's colors. Will attack on sight. HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS. DO NOT APPROACH.

My soulmate AU is a bit different than others tho (I think). It branches off of the hanaki disease, but without the one-sided love. If a monster and a human are paired together, the human gains the drawbacks of the bond, getting said disease. Bonds such as this are rare, but apparently not TOO rare for your case. The only way to rid yourself of the disease is to mix the flowers with your bonded's blood (monsters don't bleed, but as a substitute, they can infuse a small amount of HP into the mixture to have the same affect). This antidote is unknown, as is the sickness, due to it being mostly off the records for decades. There are some small studies on it though, but most humans don't find their monster soulmate. Lucky for you, the fates are cheering you on.

I watch as it begins to flow through him, and he shakes, his hand that's holding his gun, unsteady, and I clumsily trip over my feet in an attempt to take back away from him. I regain my balance and take a unsure but steady step towards him and put a hand on his arm, trying to gain his attention, but it's no use. I'm close enough that i see the monster wake itself from its slumber inside of Ryan. His eyes stare at me, blankly and i watch as they transition from his blue eyes to the golden eyes of a cat. I watch as his pale blonde hair begins to grow black from his head, as if someone had spilled ink on him, and it was seeping through his hair slowly. The wound he'd had heals itself, the skin repairing itself from the inside out and the bullet is pushed out and falls to the sand without a sound. "R-Ryan?" I ask him, and as if my voice had awoken him, his eyes grow aware and his eyes narrow on mine, the hand holding his gun steadying. I see the predator that has awoken in him and I struggle to keep myself composed. "Ryan, I know you're in there... Come back. I- You and I are okay. Please just... Fight it off." I whisper, so that the crowd can't hear. So that they don't alarm the monster before them... So they don't throw away their chance of getting out of this alive. "Fight it off?" Ryan asks with an uncertainty rarely found in his voice. "Yes, fight it off. I know you can do it. If you don't. All these men will get hurt." I say trying to reason with him. Trying to help him see clarity. Then, he smiles, a large grin and it seems sinister from him and he peers at me through his hair that has fallen on his face. "Did one of these men shoot me?" He asks and I am caught off guard. "Yes..." I answer him, biting my tongue before i can say more. Ryan merely looks at me and grins... Before he turns, raises his gun arm and fires.Complete

The story starts off from Book 2 Chapter 2, as usual, but when Pony, Zizzy, Mimi and Brayden (the player) get back from the store, they discover a horrifying sight. Their group begins to dwindle down as traitors emerge and disaster strikes. Meanwhile, Tigry is having his own problems. His group has never liked him, but what's pushing him away is that his leader and only remaining friend, Willow, has been turning against Tigry, treating him like a piece of rubbish. Worst of all, someone else has been watching him, and they're set on making Tigry's life even more difficult- at least, that's how Tigry sees it. Willow, on the other hand, is going overboard. She's been pacing with schemes ever since her worst enemies had came back into her life. And she'll do anything for revenge. Anything to reconnect her one bond with her brother, held on by a single thread of hope. Even if she has to break many other bonds along the way.
