Kushina Uzumaki after escaping the Kumo shinobi fled Konoha stowing away on a boat as she found herself heading to the country of Westeros making all the way to The Northn. Kushina finds herself in Winterfell being the guard of Rickard Stark.

Years later Kushina would give birth to a son name Naruto Uzumaki who would grow up alongside the Rickard's children in Winterfell including Lyanna Stark being her protector. Becoming close to Lyanna as they head to Tourney of Harrenhal

When Lyanna is kidnapped by Rhaegar Targaryen igniting a rebellion against the Crown and stags Naruto's only motive is to find Lyanna and return her home unknown to him that he will find the true origins of his clan.
