Through this story you will see how this one thing had such an impact on my life and made me the person I am today. This one moment is what got me into writing. I went from imagining who she'd be as a person to making my own characters and stories so that I could escape the real world. This is my story. This is Ashley's story. This is my life. I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Alexa Lacroix, an orphan living with a family of vampires, goes to a ball at the palace of the royal vampire family. when the prince makes eye contact with her, her first instinct is to run. run as fast and as quickly as possible but that doesn't stop him from finding her. Sebastian Vasile, the crowned prince of the vampires, finds his mate in the crowd of a ball. The human girl is not what he imagined his mate to be but he doesn't care, all he's ever wanted was her. Will she find it in her heart to love him back? will she agree to be his queen and more importantly his mate?
