In a post-war world, a normal girl named Sophia grows up. She moves to the rebellious north with her mom, into a mysterious estate of an equally rebellious Duke. Word has it that he is mentally unstable. She figures out that he is her father and right as she is about to accept her faith of being a duchess, unexcplainable things happen. Strange creatures awakens from under the estate and are killing people - and Sophia is to blame. Things are spiraling out of control and she have to flee for her life. Throw in a mad uncle, unknown magical abillities, an unexpected love and a world that is about to die - Sophia has to fight to survive in a threatning enviorment to save her family and friends.
