Bell Boot University was founded in 1897 for the horse people. Since then, the university has produced many horse community celebrities, world champions, and even Olympians. 

Bell Boot offers many different horse programs in English and Western disciplines, including rodeo events, reining, eventing, hunt seat, and show jumping. The two main disciplines, Western and English, are located in two separate farms, and each discipline has space to master its own. 

After a tragic night, one of the barns has a fire, and the two disciplines are forced to move into one barn together. They have to learn to share their space and time with each other, and they struggle to do so.

Captain Cash Carter of the Western team and Captain Julianna St. James of the English team must work closely to make these changes as easy as possible. Still, they continue to get frustrated with each other.

After a bet is made, the captains must switch disciplines and discover how difficult it truly is to do. The winner gets more time in the arena and bragging rights for the entire school year.

Travis is a character in the story and since Rip and Kayce are basically taken, I used him. Also, there are a lot of Rip or Kayce stories here, I wanted to write something else. Readers: I know ranching, I know horses, I studied equine science. Our instructor used to hire us out to his friends to drive their cattle for them. I participated in a cattle drive celebrating the San Antonio trail. This made this story more fun to write
