This time, the former Monkey King will now live as a human in a neighboring nation of his homeland. Japan--it had many conflicts with China in humanity's darkest ages prior to the First World War, then boiled between them their relations as the Second World War emerges. Fast forward into the future, the year is now 1990, the turmoil between the two nation still lingers, though fortunately, both are in neutral terms for now. And most significantly... The year of Sun Wukong's rebirth into the mortal world, with his new human parents oblivious to his supernatural existence.

Presently, on the year 2009, it was time for the reincarnated Victorious Fighting Buddha, who now goes with a new identity of "Y/n", for his final year in high school, in the prestigious Kawakami Academy, known for its reenactments of historical battles in Japan, and most of all... The strongest human in the world, as of this age.

And so begins the new journey of the new era's Sun Wukong... A new legendary tale unknown to the majority, being weaved in the shadows as they exist.
