Literature reader Y/n L/n moves to Hawkins with her mom after something destructive happens at their old town. Y/n thought she could escape the torment, but it just keeps following her. No matter where she goes, bad things just always seem to happen to her. She escapes her horrid reality by reading her literature books. Her favorite author so far is Fyodor Dostoevsky. 

She attends her first day of high school and already seems to have captured the attention of some people. Slowly though, the attention turns to obsession as they all obsess over Y/n. Y/n, not wanting to acknowledge the people's growing obsession with her, decides to try and ignore it. Key word: Try. 

As much as she wants to, she just can't escape her bad luck. She's cursed with it...
