In this bold and daring reimagining of Greek mythology, discover the clandestine romance between the messenger god Hermes and the legendary hero Odysseus. Join them in an epic tale of passion, betrayal, and destiny that will challenge everything you thought you knew about these timeless figures. Prepare to be swept away in a whirlwind of intrigue and desire that will leave you breathless and longing for more.

Disclaimer: This story is based off a multitude of things, but I would like to say that the video animatic "Wouldn't You Like" by Ximena Natzel, is what inspired this whole story(And is also the Hermes/Odysseus I am basing my story off of). There will be a few facts in this story, but none of this is actually what happened in Greek Mythology. I have changed things to fit my idea of this clandestined couple.

Many forget that the goddess of love was born from the raging sea, but she would do anything to protect her daughter. Adora was Aphrodite's last daughter. Her mother kept her hidden. But, her mother isn't the only one who can keep a secret, especially in a world where your role in society is everything. For there was a prophecy long before she was born: 'Aphrodite's last child would be the one to take the throne, Her paternity unknown. They would carve her face and never forget, for she would be the most beautiful that they had met Cursed for the same fate as her mother Forced to leave her love for another The only way she shall break this curse is if she defeats the first' "Looks like the princess doesn't need saving after all." He says, quietly enough that no one else would hear, as he draws his hand away from my arm. I glare back at him. "Maybe she never did," I walk away, not sparing a single glance back, no matter how much my body was begging me to. I fuss over my hair, pouting as I run my fingers through it to put it back into place. *A warning note* I am not an expert on Greek Mythology, but it interests me greatly. Please excuse any inaccuracies in the book, but if there are any please do message or comment it and I will see if I can change it without making such a huge difference to the plot. Also, my main character is autistic and the experience will be different for everyone. I have tried my hardest to put down on paper how I feel and how I believe others see me. So, please be respectful about the decisions my characters make as I have chosen to give them many different types of neurodivergent brains. I have tried my best to represent these in the most accurate light whilst not romanticising them.

In a world ruled by gods and Olympians, Hecate-the goddess of magic and witchcraft-fell in love with a devoted mortal. From their union came Y/n, a boy unlike any other. She cherished him, wanting only the best for him, but the world didn't share her love. Labeled an outcast for being different, Y/n never fit in. He was sluggish and drained during the day yet bursting with energy under the moonlight. Schools rejected him, kids avoided him, but Y/n never minded-until loneliness crept in, whispering that maybe he did want friends after all. His life takes a turn when his father reveals the impossible truth: his mother is a goddess. Then, a strange man with goat legs shows up, telling Y/n he's a demigod and must leave for Camp Half-Blood. Just as he's beginning to adjust to this new world, another boy arrives-a boy tied to a prophecy that could change the fate of Olympus itself. Thrust into a whirlwind of monsters, magic, and ancient secrets, Y/n must navigate the chaos of demigod life while uncovering the true depths of his own power and his mother's legacy. Because being different? That might just be the key to saving them all. (Percy x Male reader)
