long ago, the land in which we now live on was empty, but full of magic, and 5 magicians ruled above our monarchy of Aetherlyn, keeping the land safe, as they came and went over the first thousand years. Unfortunately, not everything is perfect, there are always people that are opposed to the ideas of a good society.
Valkyrie Arcana is not one of those people, frankly, she just wants to keep to herself and become follow in her Fathers footsteps to become a doctor, one of the only ways her magicless commoner self can earn a fortune and provide for their family. But after her father is found dead in his shop, Valkyrie is taken under the wing of the current first magician Of the Kingdom, Alecto Shadowbinder, being thrust into this new life is no easy feat for Valkyrie as she navigates through personal problems and other situations.
