After another succesful heist that Lupin the third steals a valuable item in Korea, their next heist is in Japan because at the auction house, A Rare gems being held that is related to the valuable item he stole but what he and the gang didn't know is that there are other people who want the gems. At the same time, a group of thieves are somehow also a part of this time, also wanting the gems, and the problem is that group of thieves are called the wildcards.............and they're supposed to be dead.
