Everyone wants to be liked, don't they? But, what lengths would you go to be liked?

Everybody at St. Hilda's School for Girls adores Physics teacher Ms. Sheila Raman until the day her battered body is found on the grounds of the school church.
Barely a week later, with the police scrambling to find a suspect, another corpse is found, belonging to the controversial movie star Madhushree Dutta.

Amid the media frenzy, the special investigation team hastily concocted by Commissioner Sagnik Singh come up against a dead-end with no leads to follow and no dots to connect the two women together

However, there are others who have connected the dots.

Chaitra Prasad, a wealthy married woman whose perfectly curated life is crumbling as quickly as the bread crumbs that the girls at St. Hilda's are served for dinner.

And,

Vani Ganapathy, the no-nonsense chief reporter of the Daily News whose nights are spent regretting what could have been.

As they unwillingly cross paths again, they are forced to confront painful truths and the people left behind in their hurry to outrun their past.

The lines between the between the past and present slowly begin to blur and their carefully constructed lives begin to fall apart. But is this just the beginning or are they just being prepared for something worse?
