In the city of Astravale once protected by the mighty and courageous hero 'Varius', peace was a certainly. Known for his strength, wit and unwavering justice, Varius was a beacon of hope. But one day, without warning or explanation, Varius hung his cape and vanished from the public eye.

Years later, away from his hero mantle, Josh lives an unremarkable normal life. The reasons for his abrupt disappearance still remain a mystery.
