I said softly to her.

Brooke Williams is a girl that carries a lot of baggage with her. It isn't about her past, but her father's.

He did something which was very brave of him and he's very respected because of it, but the ones that got to suffer from it want revenge.

And unfortunately for Brooke, she is their key to their revenge.

She meets her mate Davide Salvador, a ruthless alpha that kills every rogue that crosses his land and he hasn't found his mate for over six years.

It's very uncommon in the werewolf world that you don't find your mate within a year and sadly alpha Salvador had to wait longer than anyone else.

Brooke and Davide will go through normal relationship problems. She finds out that he isn't as bad as she thought, and that he is more damaged than anything else...

Brooke finds out about what Davide went through and who his mother is, and that's when things start to get difficult.

Because when things finally start to look brighter an better the danger that was lurking at them in the shadows attacks.

Will Davide manage to save Brooke and himself from the danger that's lurking at them in the shadows? Will he, after all those years of loneliness, finally find some peace and have his own happy family? Or is he too late to save either of them?
