In the sweltering summer of 1986, the Bronx is alive with the pulse of hip-hop, breakdancing, and the tight-knit community that calls it home. Amidst this backdrop, a group of five friends stumble upon a mysterious map hidden inside an old comic book at their local bodega. The map leads them to a legendary treasure buried beneath a notorious, long-abandoned brownstone at the end of their block-a place rumored to be haunted by the restless spirit of its former owner, known only as "The Watcher."

The friends-led by 16-year-old Nyah Daniels, a quick-witted and resourceful girl with a love for comic books and graffiti-decide to follow the clues, eager for adventure and a chance to escape the struggles of their everyday lives. As they dig deeper, they uncover the dark history of the brownstone, including tales of missing children and strange occurrences dating back decades.

But they aren't the only ones interested in the treasure. A sinister presence, "The Watcher," is determined to keep the secrets of the brownstone buried, using terrifying supernatural abilities to scare the group away. The closer they get to the treasure, the more dangerous the journey becomes, forcing the friends to confront their deepest fears and stick together as they unravel the mystery.

In a race against time, and with the odds stacked against them, the group must use their wits, bravery, and the unbreakable bond of friendship to outsmart The Watcher and uncover the treasure before it's too late.
