Emi needed a new start. So she did the one thing that made sense. Find a job as far away from home as possible.
Hoping to start a new career as a deckhand in the luxurious yachting industry, she expects to be placed on one of the smaller yachts, except things that a strange turn when the bosun of the biggest yacht crashes her job interview in a way she could never have imagined. He is a shifter, one of the rarest magical traits humans can have. And while Emi always believed she had no abilities it turns out that she can hear the shifter bosun speak while he is shifted. Before she knows it, she needs to learn what it takes to be a deckhand on the most demanding yacht of them all while trying to balance her new skill and relationships with the captain and crew onboard.
