Kiran has spent 200 years avoiding humans in every way possible. When he meets Cara in a clearing, he assumes she's Fae. He strikes a deal with her after she says she's human. Little does he know, this girl is more than meets the eye. She isn't human, she's a halfling. As he follows her through her quest, feelings arise, feelings he's suppressed to survive the Realm of Fae. And he isn't about to let a halfling hold his heart. At least, not easily.

Kiran's hellbent on figuring out why this halfling has a hold on him. Cara's on a mission to save and keep her mother. Unseelie and Seelie. Full and half. Everything about their union would be frowned upon by both sides. When their hearts get twisted and torn, will they let their bargain come between them, or is this the beginning of something better than fate?
