A young girl moves all the way to the Midwest amidst her parents' divorce. There's only one catch: it's devastatingly boring. Taking walks through the odd forest behind her house to pass the time, Cassidy soon finds that the town of Evermore isn't all that it seems cut out to be. And, after meeting local bad guy of her new high school, she falls further and further into a confusing web of deceit.
