It's Christmas at UNI. Campus is emptying quickly and only a few people remain to find ways of celebrating the holidays on their own.

Since her parents are visiting her brother this year, Cora has decided to take the time to figure out what she wants from life. Walking up to strangers and quizzing them about their major might not be the most productive method of finding a career, but Cora cares a lot more about having a good time than about being efficient.

Cole was minding his own business, trying to take advantage of a Christmas away from his neglectful family, when this bubbly whirlwind comes up to him and starts the interrogation.

Before he knows what's happening, they've entered into a temporary relationship and she has taken over his life.

But what happens when the timer runs out and reality comes back to them both? Do they desperately cling to the fantasy they've built, or is it time to let go and move on?

With her nose in books and his brawn getting him nowhere on or off the ice, they find themselves drawn together, sharing their baggage and behaving badly. Jake Bryers is no stranger to the pressures of being a professional hockey player. In fact, it's something that he's dealt with consistently for the past fifteen years. Throughout his career, he's experienced it all-the unbelievably electric thrill of winning divisions and conference titles, and even making it to the Stanley cup Finals on more than one occasion. His dream was always to skate the cup at least once, but as he enters the late stage of his long, tumultuous career, he finds himself struggling to perform like he once had as a younger, inspired player. Harper Clark has been proficient at one thing throughout her life-constantly moving forward without really going anywhere. After having moved to the Big Apple to pursue a more exciting life outside of the lonely one she found herself leading in the Midwest, she herself stagnating after getting her degree from Columbia, she finds herself continuing to quietly enjoy her job at the public library, treading water while the undeniable feeling of discontent grows stronger within her. It's nothing short of fate when Jake and Harper happen to cross paths at the library, and though their lives couldn't be any more different, they find themselves inexplicably drawn to one another in a magnetic pull that neither of them can understand. As much as they try to fight what seems to be the universe bringing them together, what one lacks the other has in abundance, and no amount of avoidance keeps them apart.

Things get complicated when a housing mix-up leaves Piper stranded without her best friend and instead crashing with five of New York City's most notorious-and ridiculously attractive-bikers. But these guys aren't what they seem. Beneath the tough exteriors and tattoos, Piper discovers they're more like a pack of lovable, overprotective misfits than anything else. He's sworn off happiness, carrying the weight of a tragedy he can't seem to forget, and Piper's sunny smile only seems to remind him of what he thinks he doesn't deserve. But Piper isn't one to back down from a challenge. With her heart on her sleeve and kindness in spades, she's determined to break through Greyson's walls. And as sparks fly and tensions build, Piper discovers that there's more to Greyson than meets the eye-and that sometimes, the toughest hearts are just waiting for the right touch to open up.

[COMPLETE] Soz this may be cringe, it was written very long ago A seemingly ordinary, working college girl meets a cool, undeniably sexy boy with millions of followers at his feet. How will their completely different lives allow, or prevent them from getting what they want? Expect some drama, flirty lines, steamy scenes, funny best friends, and perhaps, an overall epic love connection. ~ Carter came around the corner as his eyes darkened with a predatory gaze. Oh no. He took a step forward, minimalizing the distance with every dominating stride, as I froze in my spot. My breath hitched as his arms finally encircled my waist and his eyes locked with mine. In one swift motion, he flipped my body so my back was pressed against his chest and hands gripped the curve of my hips. "What game are you trying to play at Valerie?" he spoke in a husky voice. Goosebumps danced along my skin as his hot breath fanned against the shell of my ear and his fingertips lit a trail of blazing heat along the length of my arm. Mentally shaking myself from the trance of that which is Carter Bryson, I tilted my head towards him and whispered; "One where you'll lose." Quickly escaping his hold on me before the tension became unbearable, I spun on my heel to face him and slowly backed away towards the exit. "Good luck though." I added mischievously. With a smirk and a devilish glint in his eyes that could even give hell a run for its money, he replied; "I'm not a player though, baby. I'm the gamemaker." ~ ❗️Mature content.
