The Harpers are now living their life without Nicky, whose fate is swept into the fold of The Umbrella Academy. He no longer recalls a single shred of his former life, not even his given name, now known simply as Number Five. On the 1st of April 2019, the family faced what seemed to be their final hour, an unexpected apocalypse, no less. They braced for death, yet instead, they were transported away to the year 1963, each of them arriving in this peculiar time days apart from the other. They must find each other and then find Nicky to recall his memories and return to their rightful place in time. Although nothing ever comes easily for them.
