Heavily inspired by the visual novel game "Doki Doki Literature Club!" and certain fan-made mods for it, this is an original story about a boy who works up the courage to join the Literature Club at school. Through a series of good times and bad times that he shares with the other club members, he forms a connection with each of them and learns what it's like to have true friends. This is a slice-of-life/teen fiction/romance story about the importance of trust, bravery, patience and understanding. This is part one of a two part story. CONTENT WARNING: The Literature Club Part One contains strong language and some intense scenes involving depression, suicide, various forms of abuse and assault, bullying, and violence.
