Heavily inspired by the visual novel game "Doki Doki Literature Club!" and certain fan-made mods for it, this is an original story about a boy who works up the courage to join the Literature Club at school. Through a series of good times and bad times that he shares with the other club members, he forms a connection with each of them and learns what it's like to have true friends.
This is a slice-of-life/teen fiction/romance story about the importance of trust, bravery, patience and understanding.
This is part one of a two part story.

Some characters, like Sayori, may be slightly OOC, since she doesn't have depression here. CHAPTER 2: Yuri comes to terms with what she did to MC, what he did for her, and how she blames herself for the burden the boy forced himself to carry for her and the others, all while struggling to accept that it is too late for her.
