Cassandra Deetz moves to Winter River with her younger sister Lydia, unaware that their new house is haunted. Along with two friendly ghosts, there's also Beetlejuice - a mischievous trickster stuck between realms. As Cassie tries to get rid of him, she makes a dangerous deal. Over time, she realizes that Beetlejuice isn't as bad as he seems, and an unexpected bond begins to form between them.
