Everyone thought they were the Golden Family. But no one saw how the kids, especially Amelia was treated behind closed doors. Amelia, the oldest blight had enough and ran away from that abusive household, she wants to forget that past, but she has nowhere to go. So she called the only person who came to mind.

A human who apparently became her childhood best friend's best friend. Blights, one of the most esteemed and richest family's of witches in the boiling isles. They have three kids. Emira blight, Edric Blight, and the youngest amity blight. but the parents of these children have a dark secret, there once was a fourth child. The oldest named oden blight. He was a prodigy for magic and he did everything right, but there was one thing that made his parents supposedly kill the boy. He didn't do everything his parents command him to do. And after so many days of this happening he was in a fatal 'accident' when a spell was miss fired onto the boy sending him off the edge of a cliff into a boiling hot sea. Years later after this has happened there has been incidents where some of the blights business partners have been brutally murdered by the same thing. Blue flames. Change - The act or instance of making or becoming different. Change in life is all Amity Blight had been wanting. Having to follow her parent's wants instead of her own. Upholding the family image and living her life for everyone but herself. When would she get the chance to choose for herself? So, after having enough of it, Amity decides to fight for the change she's always wanted. This time she would do something for herself. But change can come in many forms, and in pursuing it Amity gets it in both ways, good and bad. Along the way she discovers that maybe not everything is as it seems and her new perspective on life brings about the biggest changes. But when things between her and the girl she hates most in this world, Luz Noceda, start to change as well, she discovers that maybe there is more between them than just their hate for each other. And that maybe the hate they've held for each other all those years had come from misunderstandings. Ones they couldn't fix before it had grown all too late. "You know what they say don't you?" She inquired as I slipped my hand into her offered one. "And what is it that they say?" I raised a brow and a glint of emotion flashed in her eyes.
