Dead silence blanketed all of Piltover and Zaun after the attack on the council. Shock rattled every civilian's bones to the core. Terror became a popular feeling ever since almost every council member was murdered at the hands of Jinx. Panic erupted everywhere in Piltover. No where was safe, was it? All of Zaun prepared themselves for the worse. They knew, war was soon to come.
After Silco's death, Jinx vanished into the depths of Zaun. The shimmer operation continued under Doctor's lead. And it strengthened rapidly. Everyone was on their tippy toes because anything could happen at any moment. Jinx was wanted by Piltover. Though, imprisonment wasn't enough. They wanted execution. And the grieving remaining council members were going to give that to their people of Piltover.
During all of the uprising chaos, the Firelights laid low. Both of their enemies were at war. Jinx and the shimmer operation up against all of Piltover. Though when the time were to come, they were readying themselves to step in.
And even then, their leader Ekko, wanted to prevent it all from happening. He had some leeway on Jinx. If he could get to her, possibly get into her head, get Powder back, they could team up. All of Zaun against Piltover. But would he be able to? Would he be able to get his childhood love back? The one he got along with the most, the one he hung out with the most, the one who was his best friend. Despite all of this terror going on, Ekko made it a goal of his to find Powder, who seemed to be lost in the depths of Jinx's cold heart.

(I don't know much League lore so bear with me!) Vi and Caitlyn finally have the chance at a good life with each other, but Caitlyn suspects something her mourning partner doesn't. After scanning the maps, it's perfectly plausible that Jinx, Vi's sister could have evaded death. If Jinx and Vi reunite, it could make Vi completely happy, but Caitlyn fears that Vi will die searching for Jinx. Mel has taken her mother's place. She never thought that her, the just, refined, former Councilor of Piltover, would run such a warlike place like Noxus. She thinks that maybe, if she tries hard enough, the people can possibly incorporate peace in their morals. Sevika thought that her little family would last, but she was horribly mistaken. Losing both Isha and Jinx, on top of the stress of being a Councilor, has taken its toll on her. She can't bear to find people she connects to in fear of losing them as well. Jinx is alive. Not well, but alive. She barely escaped the blast of her grenade with her shimmer-induced speed, dragging her heavily injured body through an air duct. Now, she's all alone again, inside of the tunnel systems. She doesn't know where to go, scrounging for scraps and barely making it through each day. Ekko's returned to the Firelights, but a change has occurred. He had started to mend his relationship with Jinx, and after the news of her death hit him, he stopped finding joy in things. The young Firelights playing, the sunlight streaming through the tree, his hoverboard, all things that used to put a smile on his face, just seem to remind him of Jinx. Jayce and Viktor are stranded in space. The blast from the Arcane destroyed their mortal forms, and now only their celestial bodies remain. They travel to different universes now, helping people when needed, or just talking about their memories together. Prison Break
The most wanted criminal in Piltover, the infamous Jinx, is finally captured, much thanks to the sheriff's partner, Vi. Unfortunately, it happened accidentally, and just as Vi had learned her sister was seriously ill, and was finally starting to get through to her. To make things even worse, she then learns from Caitlyn that her sister will almost certainly be sentenced to death. But Vi isn't ready to give up on her sister so easily, especially not because of some topside laws. Besides, it's just concrete walls keeping Jinx in, and... she doesn't call Vi Fat Hands for nothing... This book took me WAY longer to write than I thought it would. I published a preview book for it as the second Arcane work I put out, and four books later, here it is. Better late than never, I guess. I hope you enjoy it.
