Some may recognize what I have mixed here, some may have never even heard of them, and some may just ignore the signs, but let me tell you, this is going to be one hell of a story. For lovers of dystopian tales, and for lovers of romance in unexpected places, I have created this for you. I present you... Labyrinth of Fraud Elizabeth would have never thought she would find the one thing she desires most in life in such settings. If you had told her one year ago that she would find love during a mad scientist's experiment she probably would have called you mad and laughed it off. But now, nothing can surprise her anymore... Elizabeth Softstream, 18 years of age, gender- female, DOB: May 20th 2112, vitals: temperature- 36 degrees C, pulse- 78bpm, blood pressure-120/70mmHg, oxygen saturation 98%. Overall look- healthy. You may proceed with the change. You have, 7 minutes, until the subject awakes...You have 3 minutes until the subject awakes...YOU HAVE... YOU HAVE....YOU HAVE...0 minutes until the subject awakes... eRROR 505-... System automatic emergency shut down. Proceed with care. "You heard that?" "Hm?.." "THEY are trying to send them in" "I see... We'll have to do something about that, no?" "Indeed we will... Ford"

'There's something beyond the mirrors...' She should probably be choosing her majors for college, considering a career, and the direction for the rest of her life. Instead - she's still working at the small town coffee shop where she got her first job. And while commuting from a bigger city to the much smaller town of Briarsfield where she grew up is a pain, Evie likes the stability. The normalcy. Because the dreams or nightmares that Evie had started having a little over a year ago now are anything but normal. Dreams of an endless void of fog. They've persisted and refused to leave her alone now for months. And Evie is haunted by the chilling feeling that she is not alone in the fog. But when the fog suddenly becomes real, weather completely uncommon for Briarsfield at this time of year, Evie wakes up to a sensation of dread. And that something is very different. And very wrong. That something has changed and she's been suddenly put at the epicenter. At the precipice of something life altering. Or world ending.
