All her life, Hermione had felt a strange pull towards a certain Potions Master, starting from the moment she entered Hogwarts as a first year. Nobody except for her is aware of it, she has made sure of that.
Yet after a near death experience in the Shrieking Shack, during which she saves the wizard's life, Severus Snape begins to wonder if perhaps Hermione Granger is more than just a witch. If perhaps, she might be a fairy godmother.

But how do you tell someone they're your fairy godmother, destined to fulfill the wishes of your heart?
After all, every fairy godmother's fate is entwined with exactly one other person's. Which is just what Severus Snape had envisioned for himself when he'd thought about his post-war future: to be a Cinderella with his own personal fairy godmother.
