never letting you go

Violet Bellarose Potter, daughter of James and Lily Potter and older sister to Harry Potter.

She was a Gryffindor when she went to Hogwarts but she didn't let that get in the way of anything. She befriended people from every house and was generally nice to everyone, unless you made her mad, then she had her mother's temper.

She looks exactly like her mother: red hair and emerald green eyes. She is very smart, so much so that she graduated from Hogwarts when she was 16. She thought she would be able to do whatever she wanted after that. But turns out that wasn't true.

Instead she was forced to go with her aunt Ruth Dewitt-Bukater, where she was also forced into an arranged marriage to someone twice her age named Caledon Hockley. She hated him and she really didn't want to marry him, but her aunt threatened her and also threatened to hurt Harry if she didn't comply.

So for the time being, she went through with it. In April of 1912 Cal surprised Rose and Ruth with first class tickets for the RMS Titanic. This ship would take them to New York and once they got there Cal and Violet would be getting married.

By the time they had to board the ship, Violet didn't have a plan yet. But she did end up meeting someone on the ship; Jack Dawson, a third class passenger who won his tickets playing poker. They fell in love in the short span of time and suddenly something happened: Titanic hit an iceberg and was going to sink.

Despite the odds stacked against them, they survive and marry. But according to the wizarding world, Violet was missing. The only one who knew where she was, was Harry.

So when a letter appears in the great hall saying they would be seeing a movie about what happened to Violet, no one knew what to expect.

They also didn't expect people to appear out of nowhere, some that were supposed to be dead but were brought back. and of course Violet. Read on to see what happens in Never letting you go.
