I want to become a better writer.

From dramatic fantasy to romantic action scenes, this book will showcase my journey from being a non-writer to wherever the path takes me.

Each chapter includes writing prompts, my take on them, and the lessons I learned from tackling them. Some prompts are designed to help explore characters more deeply-

for example: "Satan puts your OC in charge of Hell for a day. How does it go?"

Others will challenge creativity, like: "You wake up on a beautiful Sunday morning, only to realize... the ocean has become the sky."

This book is meant to help overcome the inescapable pressure of perfectionism. It's a way for me (and anyone interested) to learn how to accept constructive criticism and grow as a writer. I'd also be happy to read any attempts of the prompts in this bookTodos los derechos reservados

I saw these great prompts in @LuckyBugBooks 's Flumptober book, so I've decided to try my hand at the challenge! I'm a little nervous, cuz this is my first time doing something like this, but I'm mostly excited because this sounds like a lot of fun! The Suggestion Box, Vol. 4: A to Z Challenge de KartheyM

Back in June, I decided to take the "A to Z Challenge", which usually involves writing something centered around one word corresponding to each letter of the alphabet. It being a short story challenge, occurring weekly, I decided to "up the ante" to incorporate the rules of a Suggestion Box list (Name, Place, Time, and Object) and turn it into the next iteration of this series! Forthwith, I went through every letter of the alphabet and tried to look back over any previous story that I'd written (except the fanfiction) to find characters whose names began with each letter. Most of the time, I could find a character from a previous Suggestion Box installment (so be sure and check out the referred "original stories", always noted at the beginning of the tale!) but I also took the opportunity to use characters from other unfinished novels, and even a few opportunities for tie-in stories to my published novella, "Princess of Undersea."

Minor irritations, but they may or may not trigger her blizzard-inducing rage from time to time, resulting in out-of-season snowstorms, snowbound towns, and confused meteorologists worldwide. Good thing she has a fairy godmother. Or is it? When a forbidden paranormal romance brings secret magic and an unspoken curse to light, the weight of the world lands on Lily's shoulders. Break the curse, save the world. Fail... And she'll destroy everything.

Also, I may or may not do the 2024 ones too >:). oh yeah, also I guess these counts as one-shots. also TW on each prompt, nothing too scary (probably) also, except major difference to @JacarandaAxolotl477's Monster Month, I am doing 2023 AND 2024 (NOT) mostly daily because I am insane. I'd like it to be noted that I began this about September, on a Saturday, at an ungodly hour when I decided to be ambitious. Past me did not plan to keep going through with this into February (nearly March)
