Simon still doesn't know why she did it. The guilt haunts him to this day, what he could've done, how he could've stopped her.
His biggest regret is leaving her behind, leaving her alone for so long.
17 year-old Skylar, Simon's best friend, had succumbed to her depression and was lost almost 5 years ago. The loss hit him like a truck, and he still wonders why she did it.
Her father handed him a box full of letters that were found under her bed when cleaning out her room. Upon opening the box, dozens, maybe even hundreds of letters to him were inside.
The question is, will he find anything important In these letters, or simply forget, move on from the one he loved.
