Alice, a carefree and broke girl, now living with her grandmother, discovers a picture of herself with James, a boy she spent a whole summer with. Bringing the memories back, she remembers the best summer she had and the love and heartbreak she had to endure. ************* "So, this was your idea of a magical evening? I sure thought there would be at least a few alpha werewolves preparing a table for us and vampire waiters." Always the cynic. "Haha, very funny. Seems you can throw a joke after all." I laid a carpet and then put the basket containing the best sandwiches in the world at centre, "Now leave the wheelchair and put your butt down here." "Fine. Not like I could run away or something." I giggled. It's nearly dark, the stars are coming, taking over the deep water sky, like firecrackers in a melody of glow. "What now?" "Lay back," He narrowed his eyes, then followed. "Relax and watch the skies." "Till?" "Till your tummy feels hungry, and then we eat the tastiest and crunchiest sandwiches in the world to end the day." "What did I get myself into." He put both hands under his head, "You see that one, the one at far right?" Seems he's taking interest in this. "Yeah!" I couldn't hide my excitement. "It looks like a man blowing his head off, just my feeling at the moment." I kicked his leg. "You do know I don't have much sense down there. Kick all you like you won't be making your point." He let out a laugh. "Oh yeah, then how about this," I let my boot go a little higher, hitting close to the motherland. He grabbed his crotch and turned. "Did I make a point now?" "S-Sure." Before we knew, both of us were laughing, a moment under the starry theatre of our life. All Rights Reserved
