"What the hell are you doing?" he whispered, his voice a low, rough rasp that sent a shiver down my spine.
"Kissing you," I replied huskily, my gaze fixed on his full lower lips .
His fingers tightened around my wrists, his hold firm but not painful-yet. "Why would you do that?"
"I want you Jordan." The words were out before I could stop them, raw and real.
His breath hitched, and before I could say anythingelse, he pushed me back against the wall with a force that left me breathless, pinning my wrists beside my head as he brought our faceclose again.
"And you think I want that too?"he murmured, his voice low and dangerous, but his eyes-they told a different story.
I arched an eyebrow, tilting my head slightly, meeting his gaze . "You're staring at my mouth like you want to put your cock in it."
His eyes snapped up to mine, a flash of something dark and forbidden passing through them. "I'm protecting you."
"Is this how you keep your other clients safe?"I challenged, leaning in just enough that our lips almost brushed. "Pretending won't make it go away. You want me too."
Jordan's resolve seemed to waver for a second before he dropped his nose to the crook of my neck inhaling deeply, shuddering against me. His breath was hot against my skin, sending my pulse racing. The tip of his nose trailed up the side of my neck, agonizingly slow, drawing a hushed groan from my lips. His grip on my wrists tightened, almost to the point of pain.
"What I want doesn't matter," his voice barely above a whisper, as if admitting it out loud was some kind of defeat. "Even if I did want you, I can't have you."
"That can't possibly be true," I breathed, as his mouth ghosted over my ear, his hot breath sending another shiver down my spine.
"It's the only truth that matters," he said, his tone final as he abruptly let go of me, stepping back as if the contact had burned him. His face masked control again, his eyes unreadable."We should be professional, Mr. Mason."
