I don't get it. I really don't. I died, I get that much. But waking up in a dark and squishy place, with absolutely NO ROOM to move, I DON'T GET. Let's recap. It was a regular day. I've always been an adventurous guy with a strong sense of justice. I take pride in the person I am, and always do what is right. And that is how I died, doing what was right. Protecting some kids from a drunken man with a gun in an alleyway. One shot, and it was over. Until it wasn't. Turns out, I was reborn in a world I didn't know existed. Young Justice, you know, the TV show? But that's not all, I was reborn in a small town in France that was located near a bell tower, looked down on gypsies, and was ruled by a judge with a god complex. Sound familiar? The strangest thing of all, I'm a gypsy myself. I'm a teenage boy, and my name is Esmeralda. OC dies and is reborn in Young Justice, but as a boy version of Esmeralda. The Hunchback of Notre Dame story is playing out in Young Justice, but perhaps with superheroes involved, the story will play out smoother? We'll see.
