Ellowyn can create, infinitely, in fact the earth you stand on was her doing. But when she got too attached to others with creative abilities, there were consequences.
Ok, yes, I interfered with the Crevalin War and outed my existence to lesser beings. But does that give them the right to dish out punishment for my war crimes? Force me to compete in The Divide every five years? I think not.
All because I wiped out a couple bloodlines and disrupted their messed up society. Enslaving those who can create, so the Water, Earth, and Astrology wielders had a constant power supply, was not on. The thanks I get? Now I'm stuck playing queen to the creators and I have to fight the other kingdoms to win them resources.
Sustenance, wealth, knowledge, personal desire; that's what we compete for. Two balls, four trials, and a whole load of stress. Better yet, I get to enjoy it with people I despise.

Six high school students looks like anyone else acts like anyone else but are capable of things no one else is. They learnt from a young age no one that means NO ONE can know about their powers even their parents and other siblings. It brings out the true friends and those who just want to use you. In the end, what do you do when your closest friend betrays you? This is the story as they try to keep their biggest darkest secret of what they are capable of and as they discover they're not the only ones like them... I am not very good at trigger warnings before individual chapters but there is mention of blood, cold abuse and parents divorcing. (But read at your own risk in case I mention something else. I am working on rewriting this story and when I do there will be the trigger warnings in the correct places.) (small teaser.) No one sees me. I am a ghost. I brush against the wooden fence.
