the beauty and the curmudgeon

its the year 1815 in England dueing the regency period, a young beauty named maria lucrezia had just turned 21 a great age for marriage she was extroverted and adored going to balls and socialising and undeniable catching the eyes of suitors, however maria had a thorn in her side her old bitter father, an overbearing curmudgeon bound to his wheelchair and he highly dissaproved of each of his daughters suitors deeming them unworthy of her hand but he also deep down feared of her eventually leaving his side if she were to be wed ,leaving him all alone.
