Ash is your typical bad boy. He can get any girl he wants, all expect one. Haven. When Ash starts at a new high school, trying to run from his past, he didn't expect to meet a girl like Haven. But the past has a habit of coming back to haunt you. Haven is no different from Ash. But where Ash has a past, Haven has a nightmare, one she relives everyday. Living with her step father isn't easy. The only feelings he ever had for her, was hate. Having the scars to prove just how much he hates her. Will he accept her scars? And will she accept him of his past? Or will they crash and burn?

Complete! "You know I really like you, right?" He was definitely drunk. "You do?" I asked. My voice was supposed to be teasing, but I think it came off as a bit startled. He laughed, "Yeah, why else would I trust you with all my secrets?" -- Betty was many things; a romantic, a fashion designer, a bit more jealous than the average girl, great with a camera, a helpful daughter and a good friend. But she was best known for being nice. And usually, the boy did not want the 'nice' girl. But this summer she was going to prove to Mike, her crush since FOREVER, that nice was enough. She was going to have an amazing summer, a perfect Junior year, and finally have her first kiss. It was a foolproof plan. Moving from her childhood home in Arizona to New Mexico at the start of Junior year was never a part of Betty's plan. But sometimes when parents are involved, plans change. So now the nice girl had to start over at a new school in a new State. And when the (maybe not so bad) bad boy, Eli, gets involved, it might be hard to be known as 'the nice girl'.
