This is just a short drabble/character study for my OC Marianne (which is what my account is named after) and my friend's OC Simon. It's labeled as a Heathers inspired because their roles in this AU are slightly similar to that of Veronica and JD in Heathers: The Musical (that's not really relevant to this fic specifically but I tagged it because Mari and Simon are very different in canon).
Mari's personality IS based on my own, but I wouldn't say this is a vent fic since her experiences are completely different from mine.

If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. Hope has always expected the worst when it comes to people. Although who could blame her? Since she was about the age of five Hope and her brother Gavin have been in foster care. They never knew their father. Before they were born he had left their mother to be a teen mom on her own. As for their mother to them, she was the most wonderful and caring person they knew. To everyone else she was A depressed mother that had spent more time on drugs than off of them. She cared about her kids she really did, she just didn't know how to handle them. Hope has always been there for her little brother. She hides all of her problems and focuses on her twin brother making sure that he is always happy and dosent know about her problems, because honestly at this rate shes turning into their mom. They form a strong bond and become fast friends- and quickly become something more- but how much more can they be in the chaos of suddenly becoming a hero on top of that? Adrien was a good boyfriend. He listened to what Marinette said about Luka and tried his best to keep his distance, ignoring what was becoming a wonderful friendship. After a series of unfortunate events, he finds himself single and gets a second chance at a real friend from (Y/N), much to Luka's dismay. What happens when this certain blond is thrown into the mix?
