This is just a short drabble/character study for my OC Marianne (which is what my account is named after) and my friend's OC Simon. It's labeled as a Heathers inspired because their roles in this AU are slightly similar to that of Veronica and JD in Heathers: The Musical (that's not really relevant to this fic specifically but I tagged it because Mari and Simon are very different in canon).
Mari's personality IS based on my own, but I wouldn't say this is a vent fic since her experiences are completely different from mine.

An AU of PJO that takes place during the events of The Lightning Thief and The Sea of Monsters. Summary: Zoe "Wren" Botha has been part of the undecided residents of Cabin 11 for two years. She has no desire to run errands for the gods and is quite comfortable living the rest of her (likely short) life messing around within the magical camp borders. Unfortunately, that comfortable life has been slowly falling apart ever since her older brother betrayed the camp. Now she's found herself on a quest she never wanted, but with her best friend's life on the line, did she really have a choice? This is my first creative writing project/fanfic ever, so if you have any advice or constructive criticism please share! Improvement is my 2nd goal, my 1st being to write in an OC that actually adds something to the story. I'll probably be tweaking the great prophecy for plot reasons but I'll try to make everything I add or take away blend smoothly into the original story. I want to write a story that is more like PJO from the point of view of a new character. So while I'll still be trying to make Wren's presence in the story important by changing some things, she will have her own story and her own lines, not just replacing lines or actions from other characters. I wrote this when I was like 15 so it's awful and horribly inaccurate regarding lots of stuff and the characters are really, really annoying. If it didn't have so many reads and votes and that I would delete it. PLEASE, if you want something with better writing and still full of angst, look at my other fics instead (Tempest is my fav) // Harry is upset, he just wants someone to care about him but he keeps pushing everyone away. (A/N: This is essentially going to be a process of fixing + improving Lean on Us, a pre-existing fic on my page, as I'm not too happy with how it came out as the years go by. After Luka's painful pining experience over Marinette Dupain-Chang, he pretty much gives up on romance and prioritizes being there for the ones he loves and putting their needs above his own. He begins to attract attention as the band Kitty Section picks up some major traction, leading him to feel the need to repress any hurt he's feeling himself. As this happens, (Y/N) transfers into Marinette's class upon being adopted by their uncle due to the sudden death of their parents. (Y/N) is still moving on and dealing with the repercussions of their mother and father's passing when Juleka introduces (Y/N) to Luka at their band rehearsal. They form a strong bond and become fast friends- and quickly become something more- but how much more can they be in the chaos of suddenly becoming a hero on top of that? Adrien was a good boyfriend.
